Alfonso Cirera
Alfonso, a businessman from Barcelona, sea and ski lover, an adventure soul father of three, who has always been concerned about sun safety, specially when becoming a father. All this combined with his love for creating new things, made him came up with the idea of Eclipse Sun Block.

He quickly saw there was a big gap in the market of high quality UV clothing for children, he saw the need of a brand made with the best fabrics and with the highest quality standards.

Eva Cirera
Eva, also very concern about harmful UV rays, just became a mother when Alfonso, her uncle, called her with his new idea of UV clothing and joined him in the adventure of creating Eclipse Sun Block.

Born in Ibiza, she was used to see hundreds of burned tourist every summer who ended up wearing a soccer T-shirt to protect their skins from burning even more, so when Alfonso proposed the idea of creating a new top quality standard UV Clothing brand for children, she became very enthusiastic about it, and she is now managing the brand together with Alfonso.

Gloria Santasusana
Gloria is not part of the team itself, but is the soul of the brand. Gloria, Alfonso’s mother and like a mother to Eva, was diagnosed malignant melanoma, the diagnosis was that she had only three months left to live is the cancer had spread to other parts of the body. She had to have surgery immediately. Fortunately it hadn’t spread to other organs and she’s still with us, but that punch to the family made us all very concerned about the risk of not protecting ourselves from UV rays, and UV clothing is the best protection.
